Loved dinner last Friday night!

Great food

Don't get their chicken chow mein... Very disappointing.... Unless you like PURE cooked cabbage. Barely any chicken at all. Also, the employees are not very social at all. Not very friendly...

Disgusting restaurant. Even made the local news. Just google it.

I have been going there for year but today is was REAL BAD the shrimp was cook to much and hard, the chicken and rice had no flavor

Surprisingly good Vietnamese food. The location on North Temple is kind of questionable with many homeless and pan handlers seemingly everywhere. But a nice little restaurant with good food.

horrible, wouldn't recommend anyone. took an hour to get our bun bo hue for 2. very bad attitudes owner and waitress. bad mouthing, thinking I don't speak vietnamese. this place is horrible. wouldn't give 1 star if i had the choice.

Health department shut this place down because of filth roach everywhere in food buckets . I will never eat there again

Everyone who has commented about how delicious the food was or is needs to do better research when choosing a restaurant to dine at! All of these commenters have been eating food contaminated with poison and cockroaches and mice feces! I hope everyone’s health is ok because that’s the most important thing is that no one has gotten deathly sick from eating at this idk what you can call a place that serves food from someone else’s hospital vomit bucket??? smdh shameful these people were deliberately trying to kill people!

They have the best potstickers, egg rolls and ham fried rice!

The absolute worst service ever. The food was horrible and there was a roach in my booth next to my head. They tried to make us pay for an entire plate that wasn't touched. It really doesn't help that I am Public Health!

We eat here at least once a week. Either dine in or delivery. Every time we are met with friendly service and good food with great prices. Never disappointed.

Absolutely magnificent. East Sea has been around for a while, the inside is a bit worn but it feels comfortable and they treat you very well there. The food is very good and the portions are generous for the price.

There food is good..gotta try it..last time i was there i ordered dungeon crab..which was great only bad part was it was missing a few legs unless the crab was a veteran or it loss its battle in the kitchen due to hungry chefs...

Damn tasty low key

The food here is decent. My friend who has traveled all across Asia said this is the best Vietnamese restaurant she's found in the area, but I was personally unimpressed. The place feels run down and dirty. The upside is that you get a lot of good and it's pretty cheap.

Food is excellent. Dined in a couple times and had on par service. Love this place

Dark lighting inside, waitresses not that friendly (but that's pretty typical at these restaurants), and food was average. Worst thing though was seeing the little cockroach thing climbing on the wall and into the stall of someone else by us.

Vegetables are so crunchy. Real good.

I am not a fan of most Chinese but I love anything and everything at East Sea.

Quality pho, just very empty for dining in, most of the customers were ordering take-out orfers. Made us feel a little awkward there being in a decent sized restaurant, and were the only table taken. Very great food and nice staff as well.

Decent and affordable Asian food.

This use to be my go to place... not anymore after I seen a cockroach run across a table another group was sitting at, the waitress just walked over smashed it and cleaned it up like it was no big deal. They are well aware of their bug issue I'm surprised they are still allowed to work in that kind of environment. Please go to SLC health department website they have listed violations from their last inspection that was less than 4 months ago.

Before we got our food we got a hefty serving of a crappy attitude and a huge side order of salty service.

I always order the Vermicelli noddle soup with Vietnamese Egg Rolls, it's the best. The poor service is due to their culture but I have always been treated with kindness.

This place used to be really good I ordered delivery 3 times and itwas not very goodI love the fried vietnamese egg rollswith thin rice noodles

First off found a dead spider in my drink not hidden or anything sitting right on top of the ice. Bench we were seated on was broken and pretty much a sea-saw. Ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch combo the fried rice tasted old and was dried out very unappetizing the only saving grace and it wasn’t really all that was the sweet and sour chicken.

I was worried when I walked in and the restaurant smelt funny and the lady said "Sweet and Sour Chicken", but I ordered the pork. But I was pleasantly pleased with the food. It was very yummy!

We have eaten dinner here for over 15 years. The vietnamese food is great and the traditional chinese dishes are good also. The wait staff is attentive and quick. Any questions regarding the menu or food items are fully answered. The prices are good and the portions are filling.

Wow so this place was closed down by the health department for rat and roach feaces on containers and food prep stations. They found so much filth I just wouldn't risk it. They even hid the fact they were closed by the health department so makes me wonder if they will ever be trustworthy.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. Food is excellent, cost is very affordable, quiet restaurant with LOTS and LOTS of room. I can't tell you how awesome this place is, you just need to go try it for yourself.

This was great food for the price and way friendly. We came a but late as a last minute random alternative to McDonalds. They were way cool about wanting our buisness after hours. Usually I never do that but they were way cool about it. I'm glad we did because I will be coming back for more. It's my new favorite place. ;)

Love the food and they deliver! Been going here for 15 years and never had a problem with the service or the food. The only thing they could change is that the location is in a scary area and the restaurant is severely outdated! Overall it's a great place to grab some Chinese!

They used Target Chicken. I use the same stuff.

Generous portions. Decent recipes, not a super creative menu. Generally authentic. Not worth going out of your way for but if you're already in the area, check it out

Pleasantly Surprised

I end up liking this place more often than not, but once in a while I wonder if I will be coming back. Food is typically on point. The service is what really fluctuates. Location is fine and parking is usually OK.

Quick take out, hot and tasty. I like this place

A :Quick bite" isn't necessarily accurate. We were the only table in the restaurant and we're casually checked in on by a yell from the waitress from across the room if we were still okay. We also waited for quite a while to get her to acknowledge that our check was ready and we needed boxes. We eventually just gave up on the to-go boxes and went up and paid at the front desk. Food was average and not worth the less than acceptable customer service. I do not recommend this place.
